03The product is available year-round, with peak quality and volumes during March – October. Weekly supply programmes are agreed with the buyer before the season to secure the required volumes and sizes, with forward contracting available for the busiest windows.
04Bunches in perforated sleeves or tied with bands, in 2–4 kg lined cartons, or 20–30 g clamshells for premium retail. MAP bags available.
05Rapid cooling to 1–2 °C and storage at 0–2 °C with 95% humidity to protect leaves from wilting and blackening. Shelf life is 7–12 days; air or short-sea freight under modified atmosphere is preferred.
