About the product

Egyptian spices carry a heritage thousands of years old and are known for high volatile oil content and concentrated flavour thanks to the hot dry climate. We supply whole, ground and blended spices with uniform purity and moisture specifications for food industry and retail.

Origin & growing regions

Grown in Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya and Assiut in Upper Egypt, the heart of aromatic and medicinal plant cultivation, and prepared in certified cleaning and sterilisation facilities near production areas.

Varieties, sizes & grades

Cumin, coriander, fennel, anise, caraway, fenugreek, chilli, dried basil, marjoram and parsley leaves, plus hibiscus. Cleaning grades of 99–99.5% with moisture not exceeding 10–12%, available whole or ground to specified particle sizes.

The product is available year-round, with peak quality and volumes during —. Weekly supply programmes are agreed with the buyer before the season to secure the required volumes and sizes, with forward contracting available for the busiest windows.

25 kg PP/multi-layer paper bags for wholesale, 1–5 kg vacuum bags, and 50–250 g jars or pouches for private-label retail. Lined cartons and 20/40 ft containers.

Handling, quality & cold chain

Mechanical cleaning and optical sorting, then steam or other sterilisation as required, with storage in cool dry warehouses away from light. 24–36 month shelf life, with certificates of analysis for moisture, volatile oils, microbiology and residues per batch.
